Cookie Policy

Which cookies and similar technologies we use, and why we do not show a consent banner.

This Cookie Policy explains how queerhosted.com uses cookies and similar technologies, in accordance with Article 22.2 of Spanish Law 34/2002 (LSSI), the GDPR and the Guide on the use of cookies published by the Spanish Data Protection Agency (AEPD).

1. What cookies are

Cookies are small files that a website stores on your device when you visit it. Similar technologies include local storage, pixels and device fingerprinting. They can be used to make a website work, to remember your preferences, to measure audiences or to track you for advertising. Under Spanish and EU law, a website must obtain your consent before using any cookie or similar technology that is not strictly necessary to provide the service you have requested.

2. The short version

  • We do not use advertising cookies, profiling cookies, social media tracking pixels or third-party analytics cookies such as Google Analytics.

  • Our visitor statistics are provided by our hosting provider, Framer, and do not use cookies or persistent identifiers.

  • For this reason, the website does not currently show a cookie consent banner. If we ever add cookies that require consent, we will ask for it first.

3. Technologies used on this website

  • Framer Analytics (provider: Framer B.V., the Netherlands). Purpose: counting page views and unique daily visits in aggregate. How it works: according to Framer, it does not use cookies and does not generate persistent identifiers. IP addresses and user agents are combined with a salt that rotates and is deleted every day, used only to count daily unique visitors. Storage on your device: none. Consent: not required, as no information is stored on or read from your device for this purpose.

  • Technical storage strictly necessary for the website (provider: Framer B.V.). Purpose: delivering pages, forms and security features you request. These items, if used, are exempt from consent under Article 22.2 LSSI because they are strictly necessary to provide the service you request.

  • Google Fonts (provider: Google Ireland Limited / Google LLC). Purpose: displaying typefaces. Google Fonts does not set cookies, but your browser sends your IP address to Google when downloading fonts. See our Privacy Policy for details.

4. Links to social networks

Our website includes simple links to our profiles on Instagram and X. These are plain links: they do not load any content or tracking code from those networks until you click them. Once you are on those platforms, their own cookie policies apply.

5. If we add cookies in the future

If we decide to use additional tools that require consent (for example advanced analytics or session recording), we will update this policy and show a consent banner before any such cookie is set. In line with the AEPD guide, the banner will allow you to accept or reject all non-essential cookies with equally visible options in the first layer, to configure them by purpose, and to change your mind at any time as easily as you gave consent.

6. How to control cookies in your browser

You can allow, block or delete cookies at any time in your browser settings. Help pages for the most common browsers:

  • Google Chrome: support.google.com/chrome/answer/95647

  • Mozilla Firefox: support.mozilla.org/kb/enhanced-tracking-protection-firefox-desktop

  • Apple Safari: support.apple.com/guide/safari/manage-cookies-sfri11471/mac

  • Microsoft Edge: support.microsoft.com/microsoft-edge

Blocking strictly necessary technologies may prevent parts of the website, such as forms, from working correctly.

7. Changes and contact

We will update this policy whenever we change the technologies we use and will show the date of the latest update at the top. For any question, write to hello@queerhosted.com.
